Mona Shahriari, MD, FAAD is a dermatologist at Central Connecticut Dermatology and Middlesex Health.
Dr. Shahriari is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She completed her residency at the University of Connecticut, where she served as chief resident of dermatology. Dr. Shahriari performed her internship in internal medicine at Baystate Medical Center after earning her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
Dr. Shahriari is committed to providing patient centered care and is passionate about connecting with patients. She offers a full range of skin care for both children and adults, from cosmetic dermatology to surgery for skin cancer and benign skin growths. Dr. Shahriari also has expertise in care for psoriasis and eczema, including treatments using biologics.
Dr. Shahriari has a special interest in research and clinical trials. She has served as an investigator on multiple clinical trials for inflammatory skin conditions and novel treatments for skin disease. Prior to co-founding Central Connecticut Dermatology, Dr. Shahriari was an assistant professor and director of the clinical trials unit for dermatology at the University of Connecticut.
