CLIMB
CLIMB - Children's Lives Include Moments of Bravery. A diagnosis of cancer impacts the entire family, especially children. They often find it difficult to articulate their feelings about their new family situation and often internalize their emotions and concerns, yet a parent's first impulse is to protect their child from this disruption in their lives. We know that a child's intuition rarely allows this. That's why we offer the CLIMB Program for children with parents or grandparents with cancer.
Meeting Date/Time
Five weekly, two-hour group meetings are scheduled as the need arises at the Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center, 536 Saybrook Road in Middletown. To learn more about the CLIMB program and when the next session will be held, please call 860-358-6763.
Program Fee
This service is offered free of charge because we believe that stronger families make stronger survivors. Reservations are required.
