Info Session on Prostate Cancer to be held

The Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center will hold a free prostate health and wellness event on Thursday, September 27, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the atrium of the Cancer Center at

536 Saybrook Road in Middletown.

Attendees will learn about the risk factors and latest treatments for prostate cancer. There will be a presentation by a panel of experts, including Miklos Fogarasi, M.D., medical oncologist; Richard Frink, M.D., urologist; Joseph Weissberg, M.D., radiation oncologist; and a prostate cancer survivor. A question-and-answer session will follow.

 

Exhibitors will provide information on the Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center Patient Resource Library and other Cancer Center services, early detection of prostate cancer, nutrition, rehabilitation services, radiation therapy, drug therapies, a support group, and the American Cancer Society.
