Life is Still Good

Bryant Carpenter, sports editor of the Meriden Record-Journal and author of Life is Still Good, will discuss his book on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 in the atrium of the Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center, 536 Saybrook Road, in Middletown.

Life is Still Good is story of the late high school football coach Rob Szymaszek’s valiant and inspirational fight against cancer.

Registration and refreshments will begin at 6 p.m., with Mr. Carpenter’s presentation at 6:30. Copies of his book will be available for purchase and signing by the author after the talk. There will also be light refreshments.

This free event is sponsored by the Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center and made possible in part through funding from the Clinton Rotary Club Cancer Relief Fund.
