When you enter the Emergency Department, you will be seen by a nurse, skilled in assessing your symptoms. Some initial tests may be taken at this time and you will be placed in the first available room. Patients may be assigned to different areas within the Emergency Department, depending on the severity of your injury or illness.
Express Care
Designed for injuries and illnesses that are urgent, but not life-threatening, Express Care is staffed by physician assistants, nurse practitioners and emergency nurses. Express Care operates at all three of our Emergency Departments, but hours may vary. Call us for current hours of operation.

John Kreider, M.D.
Dr. Kreider, a Senior Attending physician at Middlesex Hospital, is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. After graduating from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. Krieider completed his internship at Harbor UCLA Medical Center and his residency at the UCLA Health Sciences Center.
