Inpatient Management

Inpatient medicine consists of Hospitalist Physicians who coordinate all aspects of inpatient care for those patients who may not have a primary care physician, or whose primary care physician may be exclusively office-based or in an outpatient setting. Hospitalists schedule specialist visits, make rounds, and manage the length of hospital stays, returning the patient to the care of the primary care physician at discharge.
